Performance

Even with the lower-end trims, the 2016 Volvo S60 provides ample power. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine delivers an impressive 240 horsepower at 5,600 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 258 foot-pounds (lb-ft) of torque at 4,500 RPM. However, if you want a lot more kick, get an S60 with larger, inline five- or six-cylinder turbocharged engine, which generate a lot more horsepower and torque. Six- and eight-speed automatic transmission choices are quick-shifting; and front-wheel and all-wheel drivetrains are more than efficient for ultimate performance on the road. And fuel efficiency is particularly impressive, with up to 26 miles per gallon (mpg) in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.

For entertainment, the 2016 Volvo S60 is handsomely equipped. An eight- or 12-speaker stereo system features AM/FM radio, CD player with MP3 playback, Bluetooth® technology, and steering wheel-mounted controls, among other components.
